Any transactions performed by the general public can be paid for using a credit card. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. To make a payment, you will be required to enter your credit card number and expiry date.
Payment options available to Authorised Agents (eg. motor vehicle dealers, financiers, councils, transport and fleet operators) are determined by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles and may include direct debit or credit card.

The EzyReg facility is intended to be available 24 hours a day seven days a week, except for a few hours a month during the scheduled downtimes for operational maintenance purposes.
A comprehensive Help facility is attached to each transaction available on this Website. The Help aims to make transactions as easy as possible for you to complete without you having to require help from other sources. If you need assistance when performing a transaction simply click on Help. You will then be presented with information applicable to your current interaction.
In addition, where appropriate, drop down menus appear for input fields within a transaction, highlighting the information that needs to be entered. Should you make a mistake or enter invalid information, error messages appear and the input field in question is highlighted, giving you the opportunity to re-enter the required information.
When you have not interacted with the system for a period of 10 minutes, or you have not entered the transaction through the home page, a timeout message appears and you will be returned to the home page. Any transaction details you have already entered will have been deleted for security reasons.

How to navigate through a transaction
All transactions available on this Website have identical navigation options in place to help you to successfully complete a transaction.

Clicking on Next > will validate your entries and allow you to continue to the next stage of the transaction you are performing. If the details you enter are invalid or not found, you will be advised to re-check the details and be given the opportunity to re-enter them.
Clicking on < Back allows you to go back to the previous screen.
Clicking on Cancel will terminate the current transaction you are performing. If this is the first transaction in a session you will be returned to the home page. If you have already confirmed one or more transactions in a session you will be returned to the Transactions screen, where all transactions that you have performed will be listed.
The Transactions screen lists any transactions that you have performed.
From this screen you can choose to perform another transaction, finalise your transaction, view transaction details, delete a transaction or cancel all transactions in the list.
